HISTORY DISTRICT

The Creative District contains three separate elements with individual histories that have become intertwined: Bang Rak, Klong San, and the Chao Phraya River.

Bang Rak is a district that’s reminiscent of a European quarter with Bangkok’s first paved road cutting through it. Klong San, much more residential and local, is often the gateway into Bangkok’s west side. The Chao Phraya River, the capital’s main vein, predates civilization in the region and is key to Thai culture. Know the context as you wander the Creative District with deeper appreciation.
